ADMIN

Noah Thompson is one of the founding members of Roman Street who currently lives in Jackson, MS. With his wife, Laura. Exposed to music at an early age, Noah picked up the guitar at the age of 16 and finally found an instrument that “fit” him after bouts with piano and saxophone. His love for latin jazz music and improvisation comes from his (and Josh’s) parents---both of whom are huge music supporters. He would tell you that it is the relationships that make playing music so very enjoyable----from his dear friends and teachers, Toni and Nic in Europe, to enriching the bonds between him and his brothers/bandmates, to the wonderful people his music places in his path. He is now 26 years old.

Nik is a 28 year old product of the Eastern Shore. He grew up in Daphne but now lives in Fairhope with his wife Megan. He has been immersed in music since he was a child, listening to the sounds of jazz, latin, rock, world, classical, blues, reggae, and more. He studied music in high school, some jazz guitar in college and grew up playing in a variety of bands. One of his greatest passions is to create all types of music and he considers it an honor and a blessing to do so.

Josh Thompson is a founding member of Roman Street, forming the band with his brother Noah when he was 18. Now 22, he is a senior at Auburn University majoring in Exercise Science. His road with music began with him playing acoustic guitar in his local youth group, but this path took a dramatic turn upon his meeting of two guitar virtuosos (Tonic Strings) from Switzerland. They forever changed his perception of not only guitar playing, but what is means to be a musician. He has taken these lessons and applied them to Roman Street, where he creates and performs music that he considers to be an extension of himself. Though he plans to eventually attend medical school, his immediate plans are to continue to tour and craft music with his brother and three of his close friends.
